Star-Delta Starter Project for Asynchronous Motor in EPLAN

 

In this post, we will go over the process of creating a star-delta starter project for an asynchronous motor using EPLAN. The project includes a power circuit, a control circuit, a table of contents, and a part list.

Project Steps

1. Power and Control Circuit

For the motor control, three contactors and a thermal relay were used.

The transition from star to delta configuration is managed by the timer relay in the control circuit. Additionally, phase lamps were included to monitor potential phase faults.

2. Table of Contents

A Table of Contents was added to the project. By using the “Generate New Report” option, you can easily create a table of contents. You can view the detailed steps here.
